The question is : Do mass- concentration relation of the halo depends on the galaxy type which it occupies?
The known relation between the concentration and the formation time of the halo suggest that the halo forms early will have a larger concentration even if the halo mass are the same. However it is hard to connect the halo formation time with the galaxy age. Of course the early type galaxies has more old stars in it that the late type galaxies. But it is not obvious that the old stars will stay in the old halo. Recent merger that turn to early type galaxies into one may create a galaxies with old stars but in a recently formed halo. This is what the dry-merger suggested.
